Dashanan

an intercultural dance production developed through research on Sri Lanka’s Kandyan and Low-Country dance traditions, in dialogue with Indian forms such as Kathak, Chhau, and Raibense. The work explores Ravana through the eyes of Mandodari—her imagination, her experiences, and her understanding—offering a deeply personal and introspective narrative. Conceived as a collaborative performance, DASHANAN brings together diverse movement vocabularies to create a rich exchange of cultures and perspectives.
