Artistic Vision & Philosophy

Dance is not merely a performance; it is a living expression of our cultural memory, identity and collective spirit. Lok Chhanda Cultural Unit was founded with the vision of preserving, practising, and presenting India’s traditional dance forms with integrity and artistic commitment.

Lok Chhanda serves as a professional platform for the dance community, where artistes come together to learn, create and grow. Through training, mentorship and performances, we strive to nurture disciplined and thoughtful artistes who are deeply rooted in tradition while engaging with contemporary expressions.

We aim to support artistes as professionals who can sustain their art with dignity and economic stability, while continuing to strengthen and celebrate the rich heritage of Indian performing arts.
